The Oris Propilot Altimeter 47mm Automatic Watch 793 7775 8734TS is a unique and high-performance timepiece that combines a mechanical altimeter with an automatic mechanical movement. With its second-generation design, this watch is now higher, slimmer, and lighter than ever before. Best for adventurers and pilots who need to measure altitude accurately, the ProPilot Altimeter can gauge altitude up to 6,000 meters or 19,700 feet depending on the model you choose. The watch's upgraded movement to the thinner Calibre 793 provides a bigger 56-hour power reserve and makes it slimmer than the previous generation by 1mm. The ProPilot Altimeter's case is made of a pioneering carbon fiber and PEKK composite that has been brought into watchmaking for the first time. This material makes the new watch weigh just 98 grams, which is a drop of 70 on the outgoing model. The unique “additive manufacturing and molding” process developed by Swiss partner 9T Labs produces the case of this watch. This process enables us to industrialize manufacturing and produce structural end-use parts at high volumes. This timepiece's size is 47.00 mm with sapphire glass that is domed on both sides with an anti-reflective coating inside. The case back is made of titanium with gray PVD plating and special engravings, while the operating devices are titanium screw-in security crown, Altimeter screw-in security crown, grey PVD plated. It has water resistance up to 10 bar and interhorn width of 23 mm.
