Description
The Luminox F-117 Nighthawk XA.6441 is a stealthy pilot's watch inspired by the Lockheed Martin F-117 Nighthawk, the world's first aircraft designed to be invisible to radar. Pilots who flew the stealth fighter first approached Luminox around 25 years ago, and this watch continues that connection with a sleek, all-black design that reflects the aircraft's famous low-profile look. The black dial features luminous numerals for easy reading, and a date window adds everyday practicality.
The 44mm case is made from CARBONOX™+, a strong, ultra-light carbon compound developed by Luminox, so the watch stays comfortable on the wrist all day. A GMT function lets you track a second time zone, which is handy for frequent travellers or for keeping an eye on the time back home. The angled bi-directional rotating bezel adds to the watch's sharp, aviation-inspired style. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and with 200m water resistance, the watch is ready for swimming and water sports as well as everyday wear. It combines two types of glow: Super-LumiNova® on the numerals, and Luminox Light Technology, which uses self-powered tritium tubes that glow constantly for up to 25 years without pressing a button or charging in sunlight. A Swiss quartz movement keeps accurate time, and the watch is finished on a durable black Kevlar strap.
