Description
The Luminox Air Pilot P-38 Lightning XA.9521 is a classic pilot's watch inspired by one of the most famous aircraft of World War II. Luminox is the official watch partner of Lockheed Martin, and this watch pays tribute to Lockheed's P-38 Lightning, a fighter plane known for its manoeuvrability at high altitudes that served in both Europe and Asia. The black dial features clear Arabic numerals and baton markers for easy reading, and a date window adds everyday practicality. Paired with a brown leather strap, it has a timeless, vintage-inspired look that's easy to dress up or down.
The 42mm case is made from 316L stainless steel, a versatile size that sits comfortably on most wrists. A second time zone function lets you keep track of the time in another part of the world, making it a great choice for frequent travellers. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and with 100m water resistance, the watch is suitable for swimming and everyday wear. Like every Luminox watch, it features Luminox Light Technology. Tiny self-powered tritium tubes on the hands and markers glow constantly for up to 25 years, so you can read the time in complete darkness without pressing a button or charging the glow in sunlight. A Swiss quartz movement keeps accurate time with minimal upkeep, and the brown leather strap is finished with a Luminox signature buckle.
