The Oris Big Crown ProPilot traces its roots to 1938, when Oris built a pilot’s watch with an oversized crown that could be operated with gloves. That same distinctive crown is still the defining feature of this modern 41mm stainless steel model. The blue sunray dial is clean and purposeful, with bold Arabic numerals and luminous hands that stay easy to read day or night. The Big Date window at 3 o’clock displays the date in a larger, clearer format than a standard date window — once you have worn one, going back feels like a step backward. The grey textile strap gives the watch a relaxed, aviation-inspired feel that works equally well with casual and smart-casual outfits. Inside, the automatic Oris Calibre 751 powers itself through wrist movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The exhibition caseback lets you see Oris’s signature red rotor in action.
