Description
The Timex Deepwater Arctic TW2Y64500 marks a fresh direction for Timex's Deepwater collection, pairing genuine dive-ready performance with a fresh dose of vintage character.
A fresh dial design with Arabic numeral markers at the quarter hours brings retro charm to the collection for the first time, balanced by a clean, modern layout that keeps the dial highly legible above and below the water. Super-LumiNova in-fill on the hands and hour markers ensures visibility in low light, while a ceramic top ring adds a refined shine to the watch's rugged, purposeful design.
The streamlined 40.5mm stainless steel case is finished with a crown guard for added protection, along with straight lugs and polished chamfers that give it a sharper, more contemporary profile than earlier Deepwater releases. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, offering excellent clarity and scratch resistance both in and out of the water.
Reinforced by a screw-down crown and screw-on case back, the watch offers a genuine 200 metres of water resistance, tested to withstand water pressures of up to 20 atmospheres. A matching 5-link stainless steel bracelet completes the design, fitted with quick-release spring bars for tool-free strap changes and a butterfly clasp for a seamless, comfortable fit from bracelet to wrist.
This piece suits anyone after a genuinely capable dive watch with a bit of retro personality, equally at home on deck as it is exploring beneath the surface.
