The G-Shock MT-G MTGB4000BD-1A is a premium analogue watch finished in a refined all-black and gunmetal colourway, elevated by a Layer Composite Band — a sophisticated construction of alternating stainless steel and carbon fibre reinforced resin links.
Combining the weight and presence of metal with the lightness and comfort of resin, the band brings both substance and wearability to the most accomplished MT-G expression to date. The MTG-B4000 marks a genuine first in G-Shock history: a structural frame co-developed by human designers and generative artificial intelligence. AI-driven stress simulation optimised the Dual Core Guard structure, integrating laminated carbon and glass fibre sheets with stainless steel into a dimensional, multi-layered frame of exceptional structural complexity.
Triple G Resist protection simultaneously guards against shock, centrifugal force, and vibration to G-Shock's most exacting standards. The dual-layer stainless steel bezel is finished with separately applied hairline and mirror polishing, then ion-plated in black for a dark, cohesive look that carries consistently across the case, frame, and band. The multi-layer dial is the precision work of Yamagata Casio, protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for exceptional clarity at every angle.
The dimensional case back is formed using metal injection moulding (MIM), enabling structural complexity impossible through conventional machining. Timekeeping is managed through Tough Solar charging, Multiband 6 radio control, and Bluetooth connectivity via the Casio Watches app — delivering automatic time correction and access to approximately 300 world time cities. At 178 grams, the MTGB4000BD-1A wears with authority. With 200-metre water resistance, it is built to perform wherever it is taken.
