Description
The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SSK049J is one of the first GMT models in the Cocktail Time range, evoking the Silver Bullet cocktail through its vintage-toned dial. A deep pressed pattern gives the grey dial a lustrous, dimensional quality, accented by a navy-toned GMT hand shaped like a cocktail glass and a gold-tone seconds hand for warm contrast.
Powering the watch is Seiko's automatic Calibre 4R34, a 24-jewel movement with manual winding capability and an approximate 41-hour power reserve. The dedicated 24-hour GMT hand tracks a second time zone independently of the main hands, making this a practical option for travel or keeping tabs on another timezone.
The 40.5mm stainless steel case measures 12.8mm thick and is topped with a box-shaped Hardlex crystal, giving it a vintage-inspired domed profile. The movement is visible through an exhibition case back, and a date window sits on the dial.
The watch is fitted with a leather strap secured by a three-fold clasp with push-button release, interchangeable via quick-release spring bars. It's water resistant to 50 metres.
