Description
The Seiko 5 Sports HDB006K is part of the new Field Series, bringing a compass bezel to Seiko's accessible automatic collection for the first time. It's powered by the in-house Calibre 4R36 movement, offering automatic winding with a manual winding option and a 41-hour power reserve.
The 41.0mm stainless steel case is brushed and measures 13.2mm thick, with a 48.5mm lug-to-lug for a balanced fit on the wrist. A bidirectional rotating compass bezel with a knurled, diamond-shaped grip pattern sits atop the case, protected by a curved Hardlex mineral crystal, with a mineral glass display case back revealing the movement.
The glossy black dial features large Arabic numerals and hands fully coated in LumiBrite for legibility in low light, alongside an additional 13-24 hour scale for the compass bezel and a day/date display at the 3 o'clock position.
The watch is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet and a three-fold clasp with push-button release. It's water resistant to 100m (10 bar) and rated to 4,800 A/m magnetic resistance.
