Description
The Seiko 5 Sports HDB001K brings a GMT complication to the Field Series for the first time, powered by the automatic Calibre 4R34 with manual winding capability and a 41-hour power reserve. A dedicated 24-hour GMT hand tracks a second timezone independently of the main hour and minute hands, making it a practical option for travel or tracking a home timezone.
The 39.4mm stainless steel case measures 13.6mm thick with a 47.9mm lug-to-lug, giving it a compact, wearable footprint at 147g. A curved Hardlex crystal protects the green dial, which features LumiBrite-coated hands and hour markers for legibility in low light, alongside a date window.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured with a pull-out crown, and the automatic movement is visible through an exhibition case back. It's water resistant to 100 metres, suitable for swimming and everyday water exposure, though not intended for diving.
