Description
The Seiko Presage HCC007J is a 145th Anniversary Limited Edition, one of only 1,500 pieces produced, featuring a cobalt blue Arita porcelain dial crafted under the supervision of master craftsman Hiroyuki Hashiguchi. The dial's radiating relief pattern remains visible beneath a specially developed glaze, creating tonal shifts as light moves across its surface — a genuine piece of Japanese ceramic craftsmanship rather than a conventional painted dial.
Powering the watch is Seiko's automatic Calibre 6R51, offering manual winding and a 72-hour power reserve. The 39.6mm stainless steel case is finished with a super-hard coating and topped with dual-curved sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective coating, while a see-through sapphire case back reveals the movement.
Applied hour markers and hands provide strong contrast against the cobalt blue background. Water resistance is rated to 3 bar (30m), reflecting the delicate nature of the porcelain dial construction — this is a watch built for elegant everyday wear rather than water exposure.
The watch is fitted with a leather strap sourced from an LWG-certified tannery, secured with a three-fold clasp and push-button release.
