Diamond Guide

What does TDW mean?

TDW is an abbreviation for "Total Diamond Weight" which means it's the total carat weight of all the diamonds combined.

What does carat mean in diamonds?

Carat is the measure of a Diamond’s weight. This measure can impact the aesthetic and price point of a ring.

To find out more about Carat view our ‘Diamond Buying Guide’ here.

What are the 4Cs?

Every Diamond is unique - no two diamonds can ever be the same - it's just the way nature intended and it's what makes these precious creations so amazing.

The 4Cs stand for Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat.

To find out more about the 4Cs view our Diamond Buying Guide here.

What does Toi Et Mo mean?

The "Toi et Moi" design, symbolises "You and Me" in French. The two different stones placed together signifies an eternal bond, making the jewellery a cherished representation of enduring love and partnership.

What does GIA Certified mean?

GIA is an acronym for the Gemological Institute of America which is an independent, nonprofit organisation, considered to be the world's most reputable and widely recognised diamond certification organisation and geological research institute. The GIA tests diamonds and grades them based on the 4 C's: carat weight, cut, colour, and clarity. GIA provides diamond grading reports that offer information about a diamond's quality and characteristics.

Therefore, the GIA certified lab grown diamonds are the top of the range for quality.
