Amāre Details

What is Amāre?

Amāre – Latin for love; fall in love is Wallace Bishop's most premium collection to date, crafted in platinum and proudly holding dual certification to truly measure your diamond’s beauty.

How does the Amāre collection differ from alternative retailers in the market?

Amāre is our most premium diamond collection to date. A GemEx and IGI double certification is included in the collection. This outstanding
certification not only ensures the Colour and Clarity but the beauty of your diamond is also measured. The GemEx and IGI certifications specify how an Amāre diamond performs in authentic lighting conditions (Brilliance, Fire, and Sparkle!). This incredible
collection is exclusive to Wallace Bishop.

Who and what is GemEx and IGI?

GemEx Diamonds Light Performance® Certificate is the only certificate to quantify and qualify a diamond's beauty. The GemEx certification is a live digital report that assesses a diamond's qualities in real-life lighting conditions. This metric is divided into three categories: brilliance, fire, and sparkle. The IGI Certificate details a diamond's grading (using the 4C's). The IGI certification grading details are also included in the GemEx live report. The IGI and GemEx specifics for your unique Amāre diamond are available on the GemEx live digital report.

To find out more about the 4Cs view our Diamond Buying Guide here.

What is platinum and why is it beneficial?

Platinum is the most valuable and rare metal available. Platinum is the most durable and enduring precious metal due to its extreme density and chemical structure. Platinum is a naturally white metal that will never fade or alter colour. Platinum's white setting complements and accentuates the brilliance of diamonds. Platinum is an excellent choice for a lifelong engagement ring or wedding band.

What is the difference between platinum and white gold?

White gold is made by combining pure gold with alloying metals (such as Palladium), whereas platinum is a naturally white metal. As a result, Platinum's white colour will not fade or change over time. Platinum is the most durable and enduring precious metal due to its tremendous density and chemical structure.
