The all-black square resin case is immediately recognisable — matte black from every angle, with integrated side protectors, a clean rectangular LCD display at the centre of the dial, and a textured resin band that delivers a comfortable, secure fit. At 48.9mm x 42.8mm x 13.4mm and weighing just 52 grams, the DW5600UE-1D is a compact and surprisingly lightweight watch that wears effortlessly across a wide range of wrist sizes. Its understated stealth aesthetic has made it a favourite not just among athletes and outdoor enthusiasts, but also in streetwear and fashion circles worldwide — equally popular with men, women, and teens who appreciate a timeless silhouette.
The upgraded LED backlight activates automatically with wrist tilt, flooding the display with clear blue illumination for 1.5 seconds — noticeably brighter and more efficient than the electroluminescent backlight of previous generations, and directly responsible for the improved five-year battery life. The five-line LCD display shows the time in 12 or 24-hour format, with date, day, and secondary functions clearly laid out across the dial. World time covers 31 time zones, five daily alarms with an hourly time signal keep you on schedule, and a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed, split, and 1st-2nd place modes handles timing needs with precision.
