The Seiko 5 Sports SSK057K is a 2026 Supercars Limited Edition, marking 10 years of Seiko's partnership with the Supercars Championship and the first GMT watch ever created for it. Limited to 1,500 individually numbered pieces, it channels motorsport energy through a carbon-fibre patterned dial and racing-red accents on the inner chapter ring, GMT hand and seconds hand.
Powering the watch is Seiko's automatic Calibre 4R34, offering hand-winding, a hacking seconds function and an approximate 41-hour power reserve. Designed for a championship that races across six time zones throughout Australia and New Zealand, the 24-hour GMT hand and bi-colour black and grey rotating bezel let you track multiple time zones with ease. A date window sits at 3 o'clock, and Hardlex crystal protects the dial.
The 42.5mm stainless steel case measures 13.6mm thick, with the Supercars logo engraved on both the crown and the exhibition case back, alongside each watch's individual limited-edition number. It's water resistant to 100 metres. The watch is fitted with a black cow leather strap, and arrives in a specially designed Collector's Box.
I purchased it for my husband who is a mad Seiko watch fan. He collects them and buys old models that are either damaged or not working and repairs them - it is hobby. He is so happy with his new watch.
Brought for my husband who is a hobby watch repairer and builder. Let's face it. He is addicted to everything watches but especially Seiko and limited edition watches so when he saw this one he literally begged to get it so early birthday and Xmas present. He is so happy with it and the packaging it came in is beautiful too.
