The Casio A140WEG-9A is the dressed-up expression of the A140WE series — a unisex digital watch finished head-to-toe in gold ion plating, from the scratch-resistant resin case and bezel through to the multi-row stainless steel bracelet. Warm, refined, and quietly confident, it brings a touch of luxury to the Casio Vintage collection without losing the understated character that defines the A140 line.
The rounded square case shape is a distinctive evolution from earlier Vintage models — softly contoured proportions that sit naturally on the wrist and suit a wide range of wrist sizes. At just 60 grams across a 36.8 mm width, the A140WEG-9A is a genuinely comfortable everyday piece. The self-adjustable bracelet uses a lay-flat multi-row construction with a vertical hairline finish on each gold-toned link, adding subtle texture and a premium feel at every angle.
The light gold sunray dial shifts and shimmers as light moves across its surface, creating a depth and warmth that elevates the classic digital display. The blue electro-luminescent backlight provides a pleasing contrast against the gold tones, ensuring clear readability day or night. Practical timekeeping features include a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed, split, and first/second place timing modes, a daily alarm, hourly time signal, and full auto-calendar.
The CR2016 battery delivers approximately seven years of life. With 30-metre water resistance, the A140WEG-9A is ready for everyday wear.
