From her great-grandmother's hands to her own, Savanna's Bluebird of Happiness brooch is a touching reminder of love that endures through generations.
A tradition since 1917.
It began with Wallace Bishop Senior and his wife, May, who brought her delicate enamelling skills from England. Together, they created the first Bluebird, inspired by the belief that bluebirds bring happiness and good fortune.
After WWII, the Bluebird of Happiness brooch was gifted to thousands of children as a symbol of hope in difficult times. A first treasure for many.
To this day, people still share their bluebird stories, passing down these special pieces through generations. We're proud to keep this tradition alive, for new hearts and new stories.
